Hyatt Hotels Corporation has unveiled an ambitious strategy for expanding its brand portfolio in India and the Southwest Asia region in 2024, with a robust pipeline of eight new hotels set to open across various leisure and city destinations. This expansion aligns strategically with the anticipated resurgence of leisure and business travel in the region.
In the upcoming year, Hyatt will continue to bolster its presence in India and Southwest Asia, introducing properties under its Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place, and Hyatt Centric brands. Additionally, Hyatt is poised to elevate luxury and lifestyle experiences in India with the introduction of the JdV by Hyatt brand, marking its debut with the recently inaugurated Ronil Goa. The addition of JdV by Hyatt underscores Hyatt’s commitment to expanding its footprint in India.
Among the notable openings slated for 2024, Hyatt Regency will make its debut in new destinations with Hyatt Regency Kasauli and Hyatt Regency Ghaziabad. Meanwhile, the Hyatt Place brand is set to establish its presence in three new locations, including Hyatt Place Aurangabad, Hyatt Place Haridwar, and Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara in Bangladesh, marking the brand’s entry into a new country. Additionally, the Hyatt Centric brand will enrich its portfolio with the anticipated openings of Hyatt Centric Hebbal Bengaluru and Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata.

He highlighted the introduction of the JdV by Hyatt lifestyle brand in India as a significant milestone, offering guests a unique lifestyle experience exemplified by Ronil Goa’s seamless integration with the brand ethos.
In 2023, Hyatt witnessed notable brand expansion in India with the launch of properties such as Hyatt Place Bodh Gaya, Hyatt Place Vijaywada, Hyatt Place Goa Candolim, and Hyatt Centric Rajpur Road Dehradun. This strategic expansion across diverse tourism segments has reinforced Hyatt’s brand presence in the region, providing travelers and World of Hyatt members with an array of stay options.
With the addition of these properties, Hyatt’s India and Southwest Asia portfolio will encompass nine distinct brands, including Andaz, Alila, Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Place, and JdV by Hyatt. This growing portfolio is designed to offer guests unique and immersive experiences while upholding Hyatt’s renowned hospitality standards, both locally and globally.
